Legacy of Success
Cameron O. Hunter, a partner at Fiedler Trial Lawyers, has been litigating cases in Colorado for the past decade. He is known for his attention to detail, and for prizing excellence in his work. His cases primarily involve claims for wrongful death, personal injury, and insurance bad faith. He has represented clients with injuries arising out of car crashes, falls, dog attacks, firearms, flare guns, and fireworks, to name just a few. In addition to trying cases before juries, Cameron has participated in hundreds of depositions and mediations. He has also handled cases on appeal, both for appellants and appellees, and has argued before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Early in his career, Cameron was recognized with the Top 40 Under 40 award for civil plaintiff lawyers in Colorado by The National Trial Lawyers, and with the Rising Star award by Super Lawyers.
While admittedly not a native, Cameron spent about half of his childhood in Colorado, and relocated back to Colorado with his family for law school. He has remained in Colorado ever since. In addition to his law degree, Cameron has a master’s degree in philosophy. Since completing his studies, Cameron has remained engaged in the field of philosophy, having published a number of articles in academic journals. Cameron is also a member of the philosophy faculty at the University of Denver, where he currently teaches. His past courses include courses on the philosophy of law, ethics, and biomedical ethics. His love of the analytic rigor of philosophy has proved invaluable in his legal writing, and his passion for teaching has made him comfortable explaining difficult concepts in a straightforward manner, a skill that is essential in the courtroom.
In addition to law and philosophy, Cameron has a deep love of music, and has played a number of instruments (though only one with any skill) since he was young. He enjoys attending concerts with his friends and family, and is also an ardent fan of the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks.
